Making Clay Pigs

Hey everyone! Today we were messing around with some clay, and decided to make some clay pigs! But we didn’t want to make your generic, run-of-the-mill clay pigs. We wanted ours to stand out. So lets get right into it!

First, we prepped our clay.

By the way, this isn’t the type of clay that you have to fire in a kiln or anything. It’s called Sculpey, and you can bake it in the oven, per the box’s instruction.

We made two pigs. One’s a little pirate. We substituted a piece of brown clay for one of the legs to be a peg leg.

The second pig we made was a Medusa pig. We used green clay for the body and used darker clay for the snaky hair.

That’s it! Which pig is your favorite. Mine’s our Medusa pig :). That’s all for now. Keep on the lookout for new posts!
